A new launch of umbrella that can with stand high winds and torrential rain. Jonathon Hill is the owner and manager director of 2day’s Brollies. The successful business has only been up and running for the past 4 years. With Preston being one of the top places within the North that gets hit with torrential rain and recently high winds, 2Days Brollies is consider to be a saviour to the Lancaster city.

The company appeared on a BBC programme last year. The programme was about the effects on storms and how umbrellas could with stand certain winds. On the programme the umbrellas were laboratory tested. The brollies went through a number of tests which showed how the unique umbrellas could with stand 70mph winds. This gives 2Days Brollies the unique selling point over other competitors in the brolly industry or retailers.

The brollies were also sported by the ‘umbrella’ singer Rihanna. The star did a promotional campaign ‘Buy a better brolly’ when she was about to release her song. Rihanna became a fan of the brollies as there is such a wide variety “there the best umbrellas she has ever saw”.
